Brookes, James Thomson; Passed away unexpectedly in his 78th year on July 17, 2009 in Fergus. Jim will be forever missed by his wife of 55 years Barbara (nee: McKenny).  Dearly missed by his daughter Dawn Mosey of Fergus, his sons Scott (Caroline) of Fergus and Mark (Darlene) of Springfield. Grampa will always be remembered by his grandchildren, Kathleen, Robyn and Christina Mosey and Kyle and Erin Brookes. Also survived by his sister Beth Ginn (Brookes) of Stittsville.  Predeceased by his brother John and sisters Jean and Marg. A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 325 St. George St. West in Fergus, on Saturday, July 25th at 1pm. Visitation/Reception to follow at Pine Meadows Recreation Centre, Belwood. Memorial donations can be directed to Groves Memorial Hospital or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
