Broadsway comes to Guelph music centre

GUELPH – The Guelph Youth Music Centre presents Broadsway: An Evening in Support of the Guelph Youth Music Centre, a concert fundraiser set for Nov. 25 at 7:30pm.

Broadsway promises to be a night like no other, officials say. The trio, consisting of Dora Mavor Moore, Award-nominee Diane Leah, Juno-nominee Heather Bambrick and internationally acclaimed jazz artist Julie Michels, skillfully blends the melodies of Broadway with a healthy dose of humour and improvisational jazz.

Officials say these women have captivated audiences for over a decade with a range of jazz and theatre, to pop, rock and even classical.

Since its debut, Broadsway has been turning heads and winning hearts across renowned venues, from Toronto to New York.

The event supports the work of the Guelph Youth Music Centre in fostering young talent and creativity within the community, officials say.
