BRIDGE, Joyce Helen (nee Taylor) of Palmerston passed away peacefully at Pinehaven Nursing Home, Waterloo on Monday, November 20, 2017 in her 91st year. Joyce was born on July 8, 1927 in London England and came to Canada as a War Bride in 1946. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert R.G. “Bob” Bridge. Dear mother of the late Warren Bridge and his wife Diane of Port Elgin, and Trevor Bridge and Sharon Coates of Kitchener. Loving grandmother of Chris Bridge and Michelle of Belmont, Mike Bridge of Southampton and Jason Bridge and Denise of Grimsby; Andy Bridge and his wife Mary of Kitchener, Meaghan Ter Maat of Kitchener and Lisa and Glen Briere of Mt. Pleasant. Loved great Grandma of Ty, Ella, Ethan, Eva, Olivia, Allison and Avery. Sister-in-law of Grace Bridge of Palmerston. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by two sisters Betty Dawe, Anne Payne. Sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Ross Bridge, Walter and Hilda Bridge, Bill and Marion Clark and Donald and Jean Hayes and cousins Beatrice and Norm Minor. To honour Joyce’s wishes Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service of Remembrance will be held in the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Spring interment in Palmerston Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Myasthenia Gravis Research at University Hospital London or The Children’s Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
