Bridge closure north of Luther Lake
Due to safety concerns a bridge on East-West Luther Townline is closed until further notice.
Mark Eby, construction manager for the Wellington County Roads division explained to the Advertiser that Bridge B000101 is 300 m north of Wellington Road 15 on the East-West Luther Townline now the boundary of the Township of Wellington North and the Township of Grand Valley.
The bridge is immediately north of the Luther Marsh, he said.
He noted the daily traffic on the Townline is between 20 and 40 vehicles and the current load posting on the bridge is 2 tonnes which is less than a large pickup or SUV.
