Police are looking for help to solve a number of recent break-ins across the county.

On March 30, Wellington OPP officers was dispatched to a break-in at a residence on Road Nine West on Conestogo Lake in Mapleton Township. Police say that sometime between March 27 and 30, someone pried open a basement sliding door and stole approximately $400 worth of alcohol after ransacking the residence.

On April 3, police responded to a report of a break-in  on Maltby Road in Puslinch. Police say someone kicked in the front door between 10:15pm on April 2 and 8:20am on April 3 and stole a Dewalt saw, Dewalt combo drill and screwdrivers, Milwaukee combo battery and saw, plumbing pex tilt hood box, plumbing torch  toolbox (yellow) and a green work radio.

On April 4, the OPP received a report of a break-in at an address on Wellington  Road 7 in Guelph-Eramosa. Police say that at about 1:35pm at least two suspects entered the property in a U-haul pickup truck,  broke in through a man door at the rear of the garage and stole two laptops, a Samsung Galaxy tablet and personal identification documents. One suspect is described as a white male in his 20s with a crop top haircut, medium build and a distinctive tattoo on his right hand. He was wearing a grey hooded sweater and sweat pants.
