Break and enters
On July 15 at about 9:45am Wellington County OPP officers responded to a break and enter in progress on Jones Baseline in Guelph-Eramosa Township.
Police say the occupants of the home contacted police and the accused fled the scene. Police say they located the involved vehicle at another residence on Jones Baseline that was also entered.
Edward Fortin, 43, of Cambridge, was charged with two counts of break and enter and appeared in Guelph bail court on July 15.
Ruby Lee-Matthews, 66, of Cambridge, was charged with two counts of break and enter and is to appear in Guelph court on Aug. 20.
