BOYER, Raymonde Marie Fernande (née Gagnon)

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Raymonde Boyer announces her passing on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington, Ontario, at the age of 86. She is survived by her husband, Laurier Boyer; her sons Alan (Katie), Kim, Colin, and Robin; her stepdaughters Louise (predeceased), Darlene, Yvonne (Bobby), and Tina (Nelson); and her sister Claire and brother Michel. She was predeceased by her parents, Eugene and Gracia Gagnon, and her siblings Roch, Denise, and Collette. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and her extended family and friends. Raymonde was an accomplished seamstress, cook, and baker. She loved square dancing and made all her own dresses, as well as matching shirts for her husband. For many years, they traveled to Arizona to live during the winter season. Raymonde will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her warmth, her love of animals, and her beautiful smile. She touched many lives through her kindness and the simple, sincere way she cared for others. Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Service and Celebration of Life will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Fergus, Ontario, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
