Bowers, Jean; Born November 16, 1927 near Manchester, England to the late Clarence and Tamar Hollingworth. Passed peacefully, Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Hilltop Manor, Cambridge after a prolonged battle with lung disease. Mother to Sandra (Hoegy), Alan, Ian and Carol (Keller). Mother-in-Law to Howard (deceased), Paula, Terry, and Ralph. Grandmother to Laura, Christopher, Denise, Danielle, Joel, Aaron, Brian and Shawna. Great Grandmother of five. Nana, (a prison guard for many years) will long be remembered for her feisty disposition along with her occasional enjoyment of a liquid refreshment with friends and family. A most sincere THANK YOU to the staff and residents of Hilltop Manor for welcoming Nana as part of their family and for making her feel so loved and comfortable during her final days.
