Book Week at Kenilworth Public School

It’s book week! - To celebrate PATS (Parents Assisting Teachers & Students) chair Melanie Smith arranged Kenilworth Public School to have a visit from author Linda Sachs from Ayton. She read her book No More Pets to students on May 8. Students Mariah Smith, grade 1, and Travis Smith, JK,  posed with Sachs. Mariah was especially excited about the book as the main character is also named Mariah. Sachs answered student questions and talked a bit about being an author. Melanie and Mariah Smith presented Sachs with a bouquet of flowers and a $50 gift certificate to Eclectica gift store in Arthur as a thank you on behalf of KPS.  Submitted photo
