Body found in Puslinch Lake identified as Zbignien Baczkowski of Cambridge

Police have identified the deceased man floating in Puslinch Lake on the morning Aug. 28 as Zbignien Baczkowski of Cambridge.

At about 11:10am Wellington County OPP responded to a report of an unoccupied boat on Puslinch Lake across from the McClintock Marina.

OPP officers and Cambridge firefighters found an empty boat in the water and then, with help from a passing motorist, located a body in the water.

The cause of death and the identity of the person were not immediately available.

“The investigation into this will continue and more updates will be provided as they become available,” police stated in a press release.
