Blood clinic set for April 6
Every unit of blood donated is separated into three components: red blood cells, plasma and platelets, before transfusion to patients.
People can make a positive impact on up to three people simply by taking an hour to roll up a sleeve. Blood components are perishable with limited shelf lives so blood donors are always needed.
The coming blood donor clinic is at Mount Forest and District recreation complex on April 6 from 2 to 8pm.
