BLOM, Albert Gerardus Passed away at Groves Memorial Community Hospital on October 25, 2018 at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Donna (Dolson) for 50 years. Loved father of Shelly of Delhi, Ontario and Jim of Sutton, Ontario. Dear brother of Ida (Ted Postma) and Gerry (Kathy) Blom. Brother-in-law of Eunice Blom, Anstice Blom and John (Nicole) Dolson. Predeceased by siblings Grace Koenderink, Walter Blom, Harmen Blom and brother-in-law Cees Koenderink. Albert was born in Apeldoorn, Netherlands and immigrated to Canada with his family in 1952. He was a dedicated employee of Gencor Inc. for 31 years. Albert and Donna purchased a farm in 1969 near Belwood. He loved animals and working on his farm. Albert attended St. John’s United Church in Belwood and loved singing in the choir as long as he was able. Albert will be missed by many friends and family. Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 1:00pm at St. John’s United Church, 28 Queen St., Belwood, Ontario.
