Blacksmith shop nominated for heritage award
KENILWORTH - On Sept. 23, Wellington North councillor Dan Yake said the Lynes Blacksmith Shop in Kenilworth was nominated for a heritage award.
He explained the awards are being presented at a meeting on Oct. 3 in Toronto.
“Hopefully we’ll end up with more than a nomination.”
Tours of the building will be offered Sept. 28 from 9am to 4pm during Wellington North’s Culture Days.
