BLACK, Olive Ruth (nee Cawthra) Passed away peacefully at her home in Fergus, with her family at her side, on Thursday, June 22nd, 2017 in her 87th year. Predeceased by her husband John Elwood “Bud” Black in 2009 and her son Lloyd Black in 2000. Loving mother to daughter Sharon (Russ) and her son Larry (Noreen). Fondly remembered by her grandsons Greg (Dawn), Mike (Teri) and Jeff (Christie) Boyd; Chad (Sonya), Chris (Charity) and Craig (Abby) Black and Ken (Mel) and John Black. Lovingly missed by all great grandchildren. Survived by her brother Dave (Peg) of Nova Scotia and her sisters Lottie, Lois, Melba, Mary and Jessie. Funeral Service for Olive was conducted at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home and Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, on Monday, June 26th, 2017 at 3:00pm, with visitation from 1:00pm.
