Bike Safety Rodeo rolls into Puslinch on May 28

PUSLINCH – The Optimist Club of Puslinch is holding a Bike Safety Rodeo course for children to learn the rules of the road as well as helmet and bike safety.

The course is free and for children ages five to 12. The rodeo will be run from the Puslinch township office parking lot May 28, with the deadline to register May 21.

The program has not been run in recent years.

“I thought it’s time we did something for kids safety,” said event organizer and club member Ken Williams.

Fundraisers are run during the year so programs like this one can be run for kids at no charge, added Williams.

“We want to see the kids be safe,” he said.

The deadline to register for the program is May 21. To learn more, visit www.optimistclubofpuslinch.com.
