Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Wellington Bowl for Kids event
MOUNT FOREST – The Mount Forest community came out on Feb. 25 to bowl in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Wellington Bowl for Kids event, with 25 teams and 153 bowlers enjoying a fun day the Mount Forest Bowling Centre.
They raised $10,669, bringing the running total for the campaign to date to $23,087. The campaign for local schools was set to wrap up Feb. 28 and a bowling session for the Arthur-Alma community will conclude the campaign on March 3. This group dubbed “The Crew” came dressed for the Barbie theme of this year’s campaign.
