BEWSEY, Richard Joseph; September 20th, 1923 - July 5, 2016. WWII Veteran with 4th Royal Tank Regiment. A resident of Harriston and Sheguiandah. Died peacefully at Manitoulin Health Centre, on Tuesday, at the age of 92. Survived by wife Anne Marie-Paule Bewsey. Predeceased by first wife Robina Bayne Bewsey. Loving father of Jennifer Bell of Kingston, and David Bewsey (Esther) of Vancouver. Cherished grandfather of Matthew (Sarah) of Vancouver Island, and Jillian & Ryan Sanders of Australia. Great grandfather of two. Dear brother of Pamela Mace and Edna Bewsey, both of England. Remembered by nephews David and Andrew Mace and families. Richard was an avid sailor, reader, a life long member of the Masonic Lodge and really enjoyed his life at the cottage. There will be no services.
