Ed Benjamins, of Moorefield, was elected to serve a second term as director on the Growmark board at the regional co-operative's annual meeting here on Sept. 5.

Benjamins will serve a three-year term to represent Zone F on the board. He currently also serves on the board of directors for Inland Co-operative, Inc., and previously served on the Midwestern Co-operative and Ontario Chicken Producers Marketing boards. He and his wife, Gina, operate a chicken farm and a 1,000-acre custom work and cash crop family farm.

Five of the association's 16 director seats, established by geographic zone, were elected, and will serve three-year terms. Growmark's six established governance zones cover all of North America; there are multiple directors per zone. Growmark is affiliated with Farm Bureau in those states.

Growmark Inc. is a regional cooperative providing agriculture-related products and services and grain marketing in the Midwest and Ontario, Canada. FS brand farm supplies and related services are also marketed to farmers in the northeastern United States and by Growmark subsidiaries. More information is available at www.growmark.com.
