Beirnes, Marguerite “Peggy” - Passed away on Friday, February 15, 2013 at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus in her 86th year. Beloved wife to William “Bill” for 63 years. Loving mother to Gail (Wayne) Tonkin, Wayne (Sandra) Beirnes. Special Grandma to Sheri (Tim) Cooper, Shane Tonkin, Jennifer (Andrew) Fenwick, Tricia Beirnes, Cheryl (Matt) Challice. Great Grandma Peg to Erin, Brayden, Ryan, Rachel, Matraca, Serena, Brody, Spencer, Aidyn, Izaak and Gavin. Sister of Bob (Joan) Gear and Don (Loreen) Gear. She will be missed by her nieces, nephews and many other family and friends. Predeceased by her sister Betty and Grandson Mark Beirnes. A visitation was held at The Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St., South, Fergus on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service was held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 11:00 am. Interment followed at Belsyde Cemetery.
