BEAUMONT, Mervin Sydney – August 16 1932 to July 16 2018 Mervin passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Monday, July 16, 2018 at the age of 85. Mervin Beaumont, son of Sidney Beaumont and Isobel Cooper, beloved husband to Christina (Penman) Beaumont, brother to predeceased sister Isabel Cooper and step brother to Doug Ives. Mervin worked as a shipper receiver at Kawneer in Toronto for over 36 years. He loved all sports of which he played hockey, baseball and loved to bowl. Besides his loving wife, Mervin is survived by his son Gary and daughter-in-law Patricia, and his daughters Beverley Beckett, Lynda Konieczny, Judy Williams, and Sharon Harten and his son-in-law Wayman. Mervin also lived to see 12 grand children and 16 great grand children come into this world. Service to be held at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St. South, Fergus on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 1:00 pm with viewing from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
