Bears win medals at ‘Quest of Southwest’ challenge
Cheerleading champs - Local cheerleading club Bears Athletics competed at the Quest of the Southwest Cheer Challenge on the Feb. 25-26 weekend and brought home two winning places: second place for level 1 team, Black Bears, and first for level 2 team, Kenai Bears. “Parents and coaches are very proud of the athletes and their achievements,” Bears officials state.
