Basement Cafe performance on Feb. 20

Two fabulous musicians “That Piano Man,” Stan Chan and Sara Godfrey, will be performing as part of the Minto Arts Council’s Basement Café concert series on Feb. 20 at 8pm at the Harriston library.

Trained at the Royal Conservatory of Music and playing piano since age 5, Chan has a repertoire that includes jazz, blues, classical and pop. He sings with a deep growl and is known as the “Asian Tom Waits,” council officials state.

Godfrey is a recording artist and pop singer-song writer with a musical theatre background.

Advance tickets are $20 (including unlimited tea or coffee).

Past Basement Café Concerts have sold out so those interested are encouraged to buy tickets in advance at the Harriston Home Hardware or by calling 519-338-2497.
