BARLOW, Allen - Allen Edward Barlow, of Mount Forest, passed away at the Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest on Wednesday, August 30th, 2017 in his 87th year. Beloved husband for 58 years of Donna (nee Mower).  Loving father of Thomas Barlow and his partner Donna Macfarlane and Derrick Barlow and his wife Suzanne. Cherished grandfather of Kyle, Rebecca, Samantha and Kody. Predeceased by his siblings Margaret Connely, Howard Barlow, Joanne Copland and Edna McLeod. Friends visited at the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest on Friday, September 1st from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m., where members of the Masonic Lodge held a memorial service at 6:30 p.m. A service celebrating Allen’s life was held at the Funeral Home on Saturday, September 2nd at 11 a.m., with visitation prior to the service from 10 – 10:45 a.m. Cremation followed. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Shriner’s Hospitals for Children – Canada or Cancer Patient Services would be appreciated by the family.
