Barbecue proceeds to assist accident victim
Profits from this year’s annual Smoked Pork Chop BBQ at Drew Park on July 9 will be donated to support a local woman in her recovery from a serious car accident.
A Minto resident sustained serious injuries in an automobile accident near Drew on April 27.
The event runs from 5 to 7:30pm and the cost is $15 for adults. Reduced pricing and alternate meals are available for children.
There will be live musical entertainment during dinner.
Organizers urge anyone interested in attending to purchase tickets early to avoid disappointment.
