Bambadils at Basement Cafe
The Minto Arts Council’s Juried Art Show opens on May 4 and runs to June 6. Before the winners are announced the public is invited to choose a peoples choice winner.
A reception will be held May 20 from 7 9pm, at which results will be announced.
The council’s next Basement Cafe concert will be held on is on May 30 with doors opening at 7:30pm for an 8pm show.
The cafe features The Bombadils from Montreal, accomplished musicians who play with Sarah Jane Scouten - roots folk and more. Among their songs are Song of Wandering Aengus, Hazeldean, and Old Dangerfield.
The opening act will be Nick Gush.
