Bale blaze the latest in rash of suspicious fires
The OPP is investigating a suspicious straw bale fire in Erin.
On Feb. 15 at 4:16am fire crews from the Erin and Halton Hills Fire Departments responded to a large stack of straw bales engulfed in flames in a field near the intersection of the Third Line of Erin and the Erin/Halton Townline.
Wellington County OPP along with West Region OPP Criminal Support Unit and Forensics Identification Services Unit are investigating the fire.
Investigators from the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshall Emergency Management were notified.
