Back to school for MPP
Local MPP Ted Arnott visited the grade 5 students of Ponsonby. Public School on Nov. 4.
In an election year, it was an opportunity for the school to tie in a real world connection to the classroom. The class has now concluded its unit on aspects of Canadian government.
Arnott stopped by to talk to students about his role in the community and province. He answered many questions from the students, and even signed some autographs. The following week, many of our students saw him again at the Salem cenotaph where he placed a wreath to honour our fallen war heroes.
The legislature reopened on Monday and Arnott was then back to work in Toronto.
