; on Saturday, August 28, 2010, Evelyn passed away at her daughter’s home in?Thornhill. She was a long time resident of Salem. Predeceased by her husband Wilfrid (Bill) Avruskin (1992) and her sister Ruth Borovoy. Dear mother of Gay and Michael and mother-in-law to Jayne. Devoted grandmother to Ruth-Anne. Dear sister-in-law to Belle Ginsberg and Isabel Schwartz. A funeral service was held on Monday, August 30, 2010 at Dawes Rd. cemetery in Toronto.
