ELMIRA – Bright and early on July 7 a group of people took a bus from Salem to the Sandy Hill Trails Forest just north of Elmira to listen to the Elora Singers.

FERGUS – The old Groves Memorial Community Hospital on Union Street in Fergus is in the midst of demolition, which should be completed by the end of summer or early fall, according to hospital president and CEO Angela Stanley.

FERGUS – All students in Grades 4 through 8 at St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Fergus worked diligently this spring, right to the last day of school, on a variety of cross-curricular projects in French and fine arts that focused on helping the planet.

MOUNT FOREST – Mount Forest Lions Club president Crystal Steffler presented the Family Health Team of Mount Forest with donations of $1,000 towards its community garden and $2,000 towards its mental health initiatives.
