Township moves forward with plans for $5-million renovation at Elora arena
ELORA – While council set aside $1.3 million in the 2021 budget for repairs to the refrigeration system and ice surface at the Elora Community Centre, with a grant from the federal and provincial governments, the community centre will get a little more than was originally bargained for.

GUELPH – While the province left volunteers, coaches, instructors and sport officials out of its proof of vaccination requirement, the region's top doctor has ordered that these individuals must show proof of vaccination at facilities in Wellington, Dufferin and Guelph.

PUSLINCH – While just about everyone is happy to hear Dr. Manu Kaushik and his wife Pooja want to open a medical centre in Morriston, local residents are concerned about how such a centre would impact traffic on Highway 6 through the village.

Debate in Puslinch gets feisty as election campaign rounds final corner
PUSLINCH – Wellington-Halton Hills candidates were a little feisty at the debate hosted by the Optimist Club of Puslinch and the South Wellington Community Lions Club on Sept. 16, although overall the debate was respectful and orderly.
