Author Lawrence Hill shares 'thoughtful discussion' with St. James Catholic High School students
GUELPH – St. James Catholic High School hosted Canadian author Lawrence Hill for a “fireside chat” with the Grade 10 and 11 students at St. John the Baptist Church on Dec. 3.
“The event brought thoughtful discussions to life, with students and Mr. Hill exchanging ideas on topics ranging from Black history and identity to the power of storytelling,” officials state.
“Lawrence Hill’s insights, shaped by his award-winning works resonated deeply with everyone in attendance. His passion for mentoring young writers and his ability to connect with the audience made the experience unforgettable.”
