Assaults
On March 21 at about 8:30pm Wellington County OPP received a report of a disturbance at a restaurant on St. Andrew Street East here.
Police say two males were assaulting an individual and when a witness attempted to stop the attack, the assailants then attacked him. The attackers fled the scene when police were called.
The man who intervened was sent to a local hospital with moderate injuries.
Police later located the two suspects, who both resisted arrest.
A 16-year-old and 17-year-old are charged with assault, assault causing bodily harm and resisting a peace officer.
