Assault, mischief
On Feb. 14 Wellington County OPP received a mischief report on Grand Place Drive here.
Police say a man, known to the victim, broke a window in a residence and fled; he has previously damaged a door at the residence.
While looking for the suspect, police received a report that he has assaulted another man at St. Andrew Street near St. David Street.
Christopher Robert Stevenson, 26, of Fergus, was charged with assault, two counts of mischief under $5,000 and three counts of failing to comply with conditions. He was held for bail.
