Assault charge
HARRISTON - A local woman has been charged with assault following an altercation with a fellow resident of an apartment building here.
On Jan. 13 at about 1:10pm Wellington County OPP officers responded to the building on John Street in Harriston.
Police say two female residents who know each other were involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical in the hallway of the building.
“The victim received minor injuries and did not require medical attention,” police stated.
Heather McCreadie, 49, of Harriston, was charged with assault and is to appear in Guelph court on Feb. 15.
