Assault charge
FERGUS - On Jan. 8 at about 8pm Wellington County OPP officers responded to a disturbance between two women at a house on Flannery Drive here.
Police say a verbal altercation between a resident and a visitor turned physical and the 32-year-old victim was taken to a hospital with injuries to her face and hand.
Miranda Dobberthien, 26, of Guelph, was charged with assault causing bodily harm and is to appear in Guelph court on Feb. 12.
