Arts awards deadline extended
There is no better way to acknowledge the contribution of Waterloo Region artists and arts organizations than to nominate them for an Arts award.
Categories available are: literary, mentor, music, open, performing arts, visual arts, leading edge (emerging artists under the age of 25), festival or event, new festival or event, festival or event - community achievement, and festival or event - volunteer program. Nominate at www.kwartsawards.ca.
In addition, building on the success of the past 20 years, organizers are pleased to announce the Amy Hallman Snyder award, a new category for textile, fibre and quilting arts endowed through the Kitchener and Waterloo Community Foundation.
