Arthur will be abuzz with activity from June 26 to 28

It’s going to be a busy weekend in Canada’s Most Patriotic Village from June 26 to June 28

Starting Friday afternoon will be men’s three-pitch,  mixed three-pitch, beer gardens and chip wagon.

From 9pm to 1am there will be a pavilion dance with a DJ.

On Saturday the activity continues with more men’s three-pitch and mixed three-pitch games.

It also marks the Third Annual #GetInTouchForHutch. The 1km and 5km walk/runs begin at 10am.

In the afternoon, the Arthur Opti-Mrs have sponsored a free swim while a horseshoe tournament starts at 1pm.

Later that evening from 9pm to 1am will be a pavilion dance with a DJ. There will also be beer gardens and a chip wagon.

On Sunday the action continues with a free afternoon swim and the annual family and business three pitch tournament.

Kids activities run from 2 to 5pm with the Tiger Paw Exotics Petting Zoo operating from 4 to 6pm.

Musical entertainment from 1 to 4pm is by The Collection.

That night the Open Air Family Movie Night will be held, with free admission at the ‘B’ Diamond. Donations will be accepted.

Showing is The Lego Movie Movie and it will begin at dusk (Approximately 9:15pm).

Patrons are advised to bring their own chairs and blankets. Refreshments will be available for purchase.

Take note that the Arthur’s Canada Day draw will be held that night as well.

The grand prize is $1,000, second prize is $200 and third prize is $100.
