Arthur residents face meth, weapon charges
ARTHUR – Two Arthur residents face methamphetamine and weapon charges after a drug bust here last week.
On Dec. 9, with the assistance of the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau and Community Street Crime Unit, Wellington County OPP officers executed a search warrant at a residence on George Street in Arthur.
"OPP entered the home and seized a quantity of drugs and weapons," police stated in a Dec. 13 press release.
A 38-year-old Arthur man and Courtney Elizabeth Jennifer Snyder, 37, of Arthur, were charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of an imitation weapon for a dangerous purpose and two counts of possession of a prohibited device.
Both were held for bail.
