Arthur residents face meth, weapon charges

ARTHUR – Two Arthur residents face methamphetamine and weapon charges after a drug bust here last week.

On Dec. 9, with the assistance of the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau and Community Street Crime Unit, Wellington County OPP officers executed a search warrant at a residence on George Street in Arthur.

“OPP entered the home and seized a quantity of drugs and weapons,” police stated in a Dec. 13 press release.

Courtney Elizabeth Jennifer Snyder, 37, and David Perry Wayne Jacobs, 38, both of Arthur, were charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of an imitation weapon for a dangerous purpose and two counts of possession of a prohibited device.

Both were held for bail.
