Arthur Optimist Club has fulfilled its pledge of a $10,000 donation to the Aboyne Rural Hospice
ARTHUR – The Arthur Optimist Club has fulfilled its pledge of a $10,000 donation to the Aboyne Rural Hospice fundraising campaign. The club donated $2,000 last year to start. Optimist officials thank “all that have helped and have donated to the cause by attending our events.” Dr. Clarissa Burke accepted the cheque along with Wendy Vroenhoven and Susan O’Neill, who fundraised close to $9,000 in addition that night by cutting off all their hair.
