Arthur Lawn Bowling club holds first tournament

The Arthur Lawn Bowling Club held its first tournament of the season, sponsored by the Arthur Lions Club, on May 30, with teams from Beaton, Mount Forest, Dundalk and Arthur participating.

Prizes

First prize went to Glenn Dixon and Al Dietrecht from Arthur, second to Wendy Switzer and her partner from Beaton, third to Mary Anne Alexander and Tim O’Donnell from Arthur, and fourth to Helen Kelly and Ann Darroch from Mount Forest.

Seeking new members

The club, which bowls Monday and Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm, is seeking new members.
