Art in the Yard returns to Elora July 8 and 9

Art in the Yard is back for its 15th year.

The juried, originals-only exhibit showcases artists working in a wide range of traditional and experimental art forms including jewelry, stained glass, functional pottery, oil and acrylic painting, watercolour, fibre and textile arts, wood and more.

With artist tents spread out across two-acres of green space on Elora Centre for the Arts grounds, there is room to wander and take in all the unique art this show has on offer during the exhibit on July 8 and 9 from 10am to 5pm.

Exhibiting artists will also be on site to answer any questions.

Art in the Yard features a weekend of scheduled live music performed by members of the Elora Acoustic Café, a free children’s creative area and plenty of treats to enjoy courtesy of Fergies Fine Foods, Elora Brewing Company and Mapleton’s Organic Dairy ice cream.

This year Art in the Yard has been made possible by the sponsorship of the Grand 101.1 FM, The Rhoda Fund, Elora Brewing Company, Riverfest, Centre Wellington and Wellington County, in addition to many dedicated volunteers.

Admission is by donation. All proceeds go towards art programming at the ECFTA.
