Local photo artist Annette Twist is hosting an exhibit and sale of her photographic art in her garden in Exhibition Park.
The affordable, made-in-Guelph artwork will feature images of the Speed and Eramosa rivers, which coincidentally are being celebrated on the same weekend by the 2Rivers Festival.
The event will be held on June 14 and 15, from 10am to 5pm, rain or shine.
The location is 102 Kathleen Street, in Guelph’s Exhibition Park neighbourhood.
Held in partnership with Focus on Nature, a portion of the proceeds will go to support their nature photography program in schools.
Focus on Nature is a Guelph-based non-profit organization that delivers an innovative school program that inspires children to connect with the natural world through photography, while enhancing their creativity and self-esteem.
With professionally-trained volunteers, Focus on Nature conducts over 50 full-day workshops in local classrooms each year. Open to the public, everyone is welcome to drop by to view and purchase Twist’s unique photo art, and enjoy her delightful English-style garden which will be at its blooming best.
