ARMSTRONG, Carleton “Alex” 1929-2017. Passed away peacefully with family by his side on January 29, 2017 at Groves Hospital at the age of 87. Beloved husband “Carley” of Ann Armstrong. Loving father of Carla (Brian) Schott, Gloria (Dave) Deskur, Cathy (Mark) Holden, daughter-in-law Lori Armstrong and son-in-law Nathan Hodgson. Cherished papa of Niclole (Don), Missie (B.J.), Darren, Mandy (Chris), Jessica (Brock), Carl (Alysha), Angela (Dean), Jennifer, Rachel, Scott (Olivia), Kristy (Travis), Adam, Daniel, Anthony (Krista), Brad, Colin (Emma) and Devon (Talia). Great grand papa of 9 with baby Takacs on the way. Remembered by sister Mildred Armstrong. Carl will be forever missed by many. Predeceased by son Steven Armstrong, daughter Laura Hodgson and sister Lola Hicks. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday February 4, 2017 at the Elora United Church, 75 Geddes Street, Elora at 1:00pm.
