Ariss and Maryhill Lions bottle drive
WOOLWICH – The Ariss and Maryhill Lions Club is running a bottle donation drive on June 18 from 10am to 2pm at the Maryhill Heritage Park Community Centre (58 St. Charles Street East).
The Lions are accepting beer cans, wine and liquor bottles. Proceeds from the drive will go to McMaster Children’s Hospital, for victims of childhood cancer.
The funds will be used to purchase new toys and crafts for children undergoing treatment, and to assist parents with paying for accommodations while at the hospital.
