We all pay for Teacher's Unions!
I had to re-listen to be sure I understood what I had heard.....that the Ontario Liberal government has paid over $3.7M to several teacher's unions to support them through the contract negotiation process!
So now here I am along with all other tax-paying Ontario residents effectively supporting the teacher's unions whether I want to or not.
My objection has nothing to do with my position on unions or the teacher's negotiations, it's just totally bizarre and wrong that the employer (our government) is paying the Union to negotiate with (some say against) them.
It will be interesting to see how this blatant misuse of our money is explained away by Premier Kathleen Wynne.
