There was a recent program on the National News about a Nursery School within a retirement home. What a wonderful concept! It is a win-win for everyone, the residents who range from people with dementia, physical disabilities, or just aged spend time with tots from one year to 3 years of age. The children are learning acceptance of the elderly with their obvious physical limitations and the residents are thrilled having those beautiful little cherubs make their days worth living. What could be better! We need more feel good stories like this.
