As I get older I often wonder how out of step I am getting. The interesting article by Mike Robinson about the lack of building applications in Wellington North started me thinking that if there were more people living in the area. The taxes would be lessened and the services increased. I wondered why there were no permits being issued when other areas seem to be busy.
After pondering the possibilities for a while I turned the page and further on found an advertisement by Wellington North for another Building Inspector. WHY???
There are so many questions that have been raised about the moneys that were refunded to developers in the past by the incumbent CBO and now there is no work the council wants to hire another. I seriously question the motives behind this move.
