Dear Editor,
This is a thank you letter to the voters.
First of all I would like to thank all the Town of Erin residents who took the time to listen to what we had to say and who exercised their right to vote.
Next would be my family for their help and my dedicated supporters especially Deanna MacKay who has been with me from day one and was also my scruteneer.
I want to also thank the great team at Erin Concerned Citizens with whom I worked closely for almost two years and Anna Spiteri and her team who have been great supporters.
Let's not forget all the people who make campaigns possible from the Town staff, reporters, newspapers and even Rogers TV plus all the volunteers who helped organise the Meet the Candidates events. A special thank you to the Advertiser for their Election Supplement where voters could find loads of information.
Overall thank you to all the candidates who spent time, money and energy to make our democracy work.
