I'm impressed and thankful to both the local OPP and area residents regarding the safe return of the escaped Blue tongued skink lizard recently.   It's good to know that people recognized this as a harmless pet rather than freak out over the discovery of a reptile.  It is good to know that there are people out there who are not getting caught up in the irrational fear that the mass media attempts to stir up.
