On behalf of the Palmerston and District Hospital auxiliary, I would like to thank everyone in Minto and surrounding communities for their tremendous support of our annual Christmas bazaar and lunch held Nov. 9th. To everyone who donated items for the silent auction, grocery draw, book nook, white elephant or other draws - thank you; to everyone who baked or canned or sewed or knit/crocheted or crafted - thank you; and to those who provided soup, sandwiches, hotdogs, and cheesecake for everyone to enjoy-thanks. Special thanks to Dwayne and the arena staff for your help - we couldn't do it without you! This event has been held annually for over 50 years and each year we are overwhelmed by the generosity of our donors, the time people donate to help, and the tangible support from the community. This year we raised over $5700. All of this will be donated to our jewel of a hospital. We have already booked the arena for the same weekend next year - Sat. Nov. 8th. See you then!
